La Reata ranch is a "working" exotic game ranch. Varieties of wildlife roam freely around the ranch making for a photographers "field day".
You'll see: Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Blackbuck Antelope, Fallow Deer, Aoudad Sheep, Axis Deer. Beautiful big Live Oak trees, home to many of Texas' "sweet singing" birds.
Other
activities include: Swimming Pool, Tennis Court,
Volleyball, Horseshoes, Beautiful Nature Walk. Tremendous views
of the surrounding hills and nearby Kerrville.
Located only 5 miles west of Kerrville (only 4 miles to beautiful Guadalupe River Park). The Hill Country is known for its scenic beauty and healthy climate. Enjoy the many wonderful restaurants, antique shopping, and arts and crafts stores. The hill country is a "great place to relax and just kick back". Children welcome.
Guests can choose from one bedroom or two bedroom cottages, each fully equipped and furnished. Each cottage has central heat and air, wood burning fireplaces, complete kitchens (with microwaves), barbeque pits, and laundry facilities available on the ranch. "Sorry folks, this ain't roughin it"!
