Library

Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library built in the 1960's on Water Street with windows providing panoramic views of the hills and the river,   has
flourished through the years.    Kerrville Genealogical Society, Inc.,
provided help with the genealogy collection and served as volunteers
to help researchers seeking their family history information.

In 2003 the Library opened its new Kerr Regional History Center and Archives
at 425 Water Street, adjacent to the main library building.  This is where
historic documents and the genealogy collection are now housed.
