Introduction - The Gospel Of John
Introduction: We begin a study of the fourth gospel, the gospel of
John -- the later of the four, being written toward the end of the first
century. The purpose is different from the other Gospels and is clearly stated

2. We shall refer to an analysis of them often
This Gospel provides a BASIS for, and the VALUE of, faith in Jesus, as the Christ, the Son of God!
Our method of study shall not be a verse by verse study but rather, a reading
assignment for each week, -namely one COMPLETE CHAPTER. We shall give it a topic.
Each is asked to read the chapter prior to class, and then be able to discuss
the contents in class.
The following short outline should be considered in order to get a picture
of the whole book.
