JACOSA is an organization founded by the
VICTOR BOUCARD Sr. FAMILY ESTATE in 1995 for the purpose of engaging in Commercial, Real
Estate, and Humanitarian ventures in HAITI.
The pilot plant purchased from TEXAROME INC is on line and has been producing since
Februrary of 1998. Should this plant prove as successful as expected, a proposed scaled up
unit of up to 5,000 acres of useful biomass crops producing essential oils along with 10
Megawatts of electricity and tons of animal feed, are on the drawing board for the major
plains of the country. A paper entitled Haitian economic recovery plan (PROGRAMME
DE DEVELOPPEMENT ECONOMIQUE POUR LA REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI) describing the large
scale projects has been circulated by Gueric and Victor Boucard.
