HCCC is a non-profit organization, a regional area computer club of about 90 computer users and friends. HCCC has members of a variety of computer ability from the newbie to the expert. Our goal is to help people learn to use their computers and provide a networking source for users. Once a month we have a general meeting and membership is encouraged but not required to attend. We have guest speakers, usually experts in the field, covering a variety of topics. Time is often allowed for questions and answer sessions. So this is the chance to find the help you need or meet others in your field! Door prizes and other fun activities are an important part of each meeting. We meet once a month on the third Thursday at 2:00 p.m. to improve our skills and provide training to the people in the Hill Country Area. Meetings are in the Education Building of the First United Methodist Church. The address is 221 Thompson Dr. in Kerrville, Texas.
Visitors are welcome! For Location, Click On Texas Map
HCCC members enjoy the benefits of attending SIGs (Special Interest Groups), presented by members, which are sessions on a variety of practical approaches in the different uses of computers. Participants have an opportunity to be involved in activities, ask questions and offer personal problems.
Members also receive a monthly newsletter, either by mail or e-mail, with helpful hints and interesting web sites. In addition members can participate in events around the Hill Country to meet other computer users.
To become a member of HCCC, just attend one of our meetings and see our Treasurer, Carol Parks.
