All of us need a chance to sit back, relax and remember who we are and what we wanted to accomplish in our lifetime. You can't do that with the phone ringing, the children screaming or with one more person wanting just a moment of your time…
The Barrister's Guest Quarters offers a quiet peaceful setting fully decorated with quaint furnishings and linens. An interior hallway leads to 6 guestrooms, each complete with a queen size bed and private bath.
The entire property is non-smoking. We do not allow any of our guests to bring their children. We respectfully request that all guests leave their precious pets at a kennel, if they can't stay at home. If a guest simply can't bear to be away from their cellular phone, please turn it on vibrate or turn it way down so you do not disturb the other guests.
When you just can't take the quiet any more, remember you are just moments away from Main Street. There you will find antique shops, specialty shops, museums, and the finest German food restaurants around for miles.
Take a stroll through the wild flower farm, visit the herb farm, go to a spa for special pampering. Need a little more challenge, take a drive out to Enchanted Rock and climb all the way to the top. Visit LBJ Ranch, go to one of the Museums, play a game of golf… The list goes on and on.
